Bram Van De Velde, born on the 10th of july 1978, comes originally from the little village of Hillegem (Belgium) and is now out to see the big world 🙂
Hobbies include: Mountainbiking, reading, listening music, travelling
Former great holidays: Backpacking in Nepal, Chile-Argentina, Peru, Southern Ossetia and biking New Zealand for 3 months
Always had the idea of travelling the world, and after having met Katharina on holiday in 2013, the dream became reality at the end of the same year. Finally another road to cycle than daily traject to & from work 🙂

Katharina (born in july 1975) has worked for many years as a lab technician and lived in several german cities like Cologne, Berlin and Hamburg.
As the years passed by, her desire for more space and less structures in her life became continually bigger until finally, she decided to leave everything behind and start travelling.
Not backpacking, hopping from place to place by bus but by bicycle which gives me the possibility to explore nature, people and their culture at my pace and without a window in front of my nose.
No timetables, no ringing clock in the morning, no labs, no closed rooms and busy city streets anymore – but nature and the free decision where and when to go with the few belongings which go into four bicycle bags 🙂
Of course life is not a neverending dream now, there is a routine, long stretches of exhausting cycling and a lot of uncontrollable occurencies (nice and bad ones) we have to deal with – but up to now I still like the bicycle travelling and will go on as long as it remains like this 🙂
